PRICE OF METAL ON JUNK CARS RISES

Cash for Junk Cars

In early March, President Donald Trump announced tariff on imported steel into the United States.  Since the announcement, prices per pound on scrap cars has inched back up to around 8 cents per pound.  This is a tremendous jump considering a little over a year ago prices were around 4.5 Cents.

With the projected US Steel market picking up production and less imported imports from countries like China, there is optimism that metal will continue to rise.

Although we do not know how fast or how much, anything is better than prior dismal market reports.

About the Author:

As CEO of RCO Cash for Cars I do my best treating customers as I would like to be treated if selling my own personal vehicle. We do our best at evaluating vehicle based on the age, mechanical condition, and overall history when getting a customer a price quote. There's no one size fits all priced on a vehicle and we eliminate the flaws of pricing guides. Remember pricing guides do not purchase vehicles and there is no Human Element when the give customers a quote. RCO Cash for Cars prides itself being one of the top car buyers in the country.
